Orbits, masses and dynamical parallaxes of 12 visual binary systems In this paper the preliminary orbital elements are presented for thefolowing double stars: WDS 00153+4412 = A 1256 AB, WDS 00470+2315 = HU413, WDS 00520+3154 = A 924, WDS 01036+6341 = MLR 87, WDS 01131+2942 = A1260, WDS 01158+0947 = A 2102, WDS 01200-1549 = HJ 2036, WDS 02423+4925= HU 539, WDS 02512+0141 = A 2338, WDS 02514-2139 = DON 43, WDS06253+0130 = FIN 343, WDS 20329+1142 = J 1. For all pairs in addition tothe orbital elements, the dynamical parallaxes, the masses, the absolutemagnitudes, the observations, the residuals (O-C) and the ephemeridesfor the next six years are given.
| Binary Star Orbits. II. Preliminary First Orbits for 117 Systems Orbital elements are presented for 117 binary systems with no previousorbit calculation. For nearly all of these systems, these elements mustbe regarded as preliminary, but the ephemerides presented here should berelatively accurate over the next several decades. Further, the analysisof these systems should highlight the need for their continuedobservation by dedicated programs to improve the veracity of theseelements.
| ICCD Speckle Observations of Binary Stars. XXIII. Measurements during 1982-1997 from Six Telescopes, with 14 New Orbits We present 2017 observations of 1286 binary stars, observed by means ofspeckle interferometry using six telescopes over a 15 year period from1982 April to 1997 June. These measurements constitute the 23dinstallment in CHARA's speckle program at 2 to 4 m class telescopes andinclude the second major collection of measurements from the MountWilson 100 inch (2.5 m) Hooker Telescope. Orbital elements are alsopresented for 14 systems, seven of which have had no previouslypublished orbital analyses.

| Observations of double stars and new pairs. XIV Results of a continuing survey of visual double stars are presented, including 4880 measurements made from February 1987 to November 1989.The positions in WDS format and Durchmusterung numbers are given for 194pairs first reported here. Micrometer measurements of 1142 doubles madewith the Swarthmore 61 cm refractor are presented. Magnitudes areestimated for some of the objects. Plate measurements, plateorientations, position angles, number of nights, and measured exposuresare given. Visual observations of 342 pairs obtained in May 1989 atCerro Tololo, mostly with the 1.0 m reflector, are reported.

| Measurements of double stars at Nice with 74-cm and 50-cm refractors A total of 717 measures of 287 binaries made at the 74-cm and 50-cmrefractors are presented. These are mostly very close binariesdiscovered recently, for which a rapid orbital motion is evident forabout 30 percent.
| Some enigmatic binary stars. I Historical measurements of components of binary star systems at timesexhibit evidence for incompatible interpretations. A short period andstrong eccentricity can equally be a long period with feebleeccentricity. Furthermore, measurements have been made indicating bothdirect and retrograde motions of the components. It has sometimes beenfound that the observations of contradicting evidence have been made ofa second binary system near the system first measured. Note is taken ofthe objects ADS 1959 - A 1818, ADS 2051 - HU 539, ADS 5515 - A 512, ADS5671 - BU 1022, ADS 6001 - A 1963, and ADS 7550 - A 2561, which maypossibly be combinations of two or even three binary clusters observedat different times. Tables are presented of data thus far measured ofeach system.
