Vitesses radiales. Catalogue WEB: Wilson Evans Batten. Subtittle: Radial velocities: The Wilson-Evans-Batten catalogue.
We give a common version of the two catalogues of Mean Radial Velocitiesby Wilson (1963) and Evans (1978) to which we have added the catalogueof spectroscopic binary systems (Batten et al. 1989). For each star, when possible, we give: 1) an acronym to enter SIMBAD (Set ofIdentifications Measurements and Bibliography for Astronomical Data) ofthe CDS (Centre de Donnees Astronomiques de Strasbourg). 2) the numberHIC of the HIPPARCOS catalogue (Turon 1992). 3) the CCDM number(Catalogue des Composantes des etoiles Doubles et Multiples) byDommanget & Nys (1994). For the cluster stars, a precise study hasbeen done, on the identificator numbers. Numerous remarks point out theproblems we have had to deal with.

Spectral types of 80 early-type stars of variable radial velocity
MK spectral types are given for 80 normal early-type stars of variableradial velocity. These spectral types were determined from spectrogramstaken with the Lick Observatory 0.9-m refractor during the years1957-58.

EV Lacertae - Relationship of the flares to the nonflare variability
The observations of the flare star EV Lac in July - September 1981 haveconfirmed the existence of photometric variability outside the flaresduring the night. It was found that, as a rule a slow increase ofbrightness in U and B bands during 1 - 2 hours preceded the flares . Itis suggested that the variability outside the flares is the result ofthe variability of chromospheric emission lines and continuum that areemitted by chromospheric pre-flare formations.
