Speckle Interferometry at the Observatorio Astronómico Nacional. II
We present speckle interferometric measurements of binary stars madeduring June of 2009 with the 1.5 m telescope of the ObservatorioAstronómico Nacional at SPM (Mexico). The data contain 189position angle and separation measures of 144 systems. The measuredangular separations range from 0arcsec.16 to 3arcsec.64. The maximummagnitude of the brighter component is 10.96. The mean error inseparation is 0arcsec.02 and in the position angles 1.5°. Some ofthe position angles were determined with the usual 180° ambiguity.

Two-colour photometry for 9473 components of close Hipparcos double and multiple stars
Using observations obtained with the Tycho instrument of the ESAHipparcos satellite, a two-colour photometry is produced for componentsof more than 7 000 Hipparcos double and multiple stars with angularseparations 0.1 to 2.5 arcsec. We publish 9473 components of 5173systems with separations above 0.3 arcsec. The majority of them did nothave Tycho photometry in the Hipparcos catalogue. The magnitudes arederived in the Tycho B_T and V_T passbands, similar to the Johnsonpassbands. Photometrically resolved components of the binaries withstatistically significant trigonometric parallaxes can be put on an HRdiagram, the majority of them for the first time. Based on observationsmade with the ESA Hipparcos satellite.

Photoelectric light curve study of the DK Cygni system
UBV photoelectric light curves of the eclipsing variable DK Cygni, wereobtained during four nights in September, 1986. They are compared withprevious light curves of the system. The primary minimum shows atransit, whereas the secondary minimum, shows an occultation. The starmay be classified as an A-type W UMa system. Two salient points arisefrom the light curves: First, the maximum after the secondary minimum isincreasing in brightness and second, the depth of the secondary minimumis varying as compared with the primary minimum. These changing patternsof surface brightness may be due to irregularity in mass transfer thattakes place between the components. The parabolic trend of the (O-C)diagram reveals that the orbital period increases linearily at the rateof 9.76 x 10-12 days/cycle.
